At Park Lane, we believe that Professional Development is an opportunity for every teacher to improve and develop their practice, ultimately aiming to improve students’ outcomes. It is an ongoing process that is driven by an individual teacher’s needs and pedagogical interests but should also align with the whole school’s priorities.

WomenEd is a global grassroots movement that started in the UK, with the aim of connecting aspiring and existing women leaders in education and giving them a voice. More information can be found at https://womened.org/
Here in Czechia, we have a core team that meets a few times a year and plans events for networking, professional development and, yes, fun. We work in schools, we volunteer our time to this and we aim to challenge barriers in our field that prevent women from progressing on their leadership journeys.
